Personality

Xenon is probably not the Romulan you want negotiating treaties. Shoot first-ask questions later is not just a quaint phrase-it's a way of life for him. His allies have done an admirable job on tempering him down a bit, but his default reaction to a dangerous situation remains "shoot it". This attitude translates out of combat situations as well; blunt but forthright, sarcastic but honest, Xenon wants to serve the Republic as best he can-and he feels that he serves best as a Romulan blade going into the heart of a threat.

Intriguingly, he doesn't have the "Romulans are the best" attitude that many of his species tends to have. He has no problem utilizing other technologies if he feels they're better than Romulan tech. It's for this reason that he allied his crew with Starfleet, and has even utilized one of their starships over a Romulan one when he felt it as the best choice available. Xenon's pride only extends to his own abilities-not to his people's tech or even attitude. Let the Tal Shiar slink in the shadows and manipulate and scheme; Xenon will face his enemies head on. And if he has anything to say about it...he'll win.

Biography

Xenon has been a wanderer for decades-and that probably saved his life. That meant he wasn't on Romulus when it blew up from the Hobus Supernova.

His wandering ways had come as a result of a poor experience with the Tal Shiar, which led to him killing an agent in a gunfight. How he managed to outdraw a Tal Shiar agent had made for intresting stories, and he never denied any of them. Ever since, he was a soldier of fortune, going from unaligned world to unaligned world, offering his gun to whoever could pay. He usually tried to be on what he considered "the right side", but hindsight shows that he wasn't always successful.

In time-long after Hobus-he began to tire, and decided to settle. Make a new life, rejoin civilization. Learn what it meant to be Romulan again, without the Tal Shiar looking over his shoulder. To that end, he located a colony world, and hoped that he could set his gun aside, and simply be.

The world was called Virinat. And that was where his world changed-and a new legend began to be forged.

Now, he is a respected Commander in the fleet of the Romulan Republic. His ship, the RRW Scorah is on detached assignmed to Starfleet's Corps of Discovery

Hobbies/Pastimes

Xenon has, in some quarters, a reputation for being a gunslinger-and one of the faster draws around, thanks to his Vulcanoid heritage. Pistol-work is something that he's spent a lot of time practicing, and he's one of the better shots in the Republic.
