- Winter is coming.
- —George R. R. Martin, A Game of Thrones (1996)
When the Titan Weapons powerset was announced, I wanted to make a character to use them. I had an image of a frost giant wielding a massive hammer. But when the set was released...no hammer that fit the concept came with it. It wasn't until the Fire and Ice vet reward costume set became available to me that I was able to realize the concept of Jotunhammer. Unfortunately, the game came to an end not horribly long after, consigning Jotunhammer to the Forgotten. I would revisit some of the ideas with a character in a Mutants and Masterminds campaign.
