When the Titan Weapons powerset was announced, I wanted to make a character to use them. I had an image of a frost giant wielding a massive hammer. But when the set was released...no hammer that fit the concept came with it. It wasn't until the Fire and Ice vet reward costume set became available to me that I was able to realize the concept of Jotunhammer. Unfortunately, the game came to an end not horribly long after, which apparently put an end to the concept. But with the arrival of the Everlasting server, I chose to revisit Jotunhammer and begin anew!
Titan Weapons

Powers
Jotunhammer's powers derive primarily from his nature as the blood of a frost giant. That blood is why he transformed into an eight foot tall blue giant, and why he is able to wield the weapon he has named himself for.
Ice Armor
Thanks to his heritage, Jotunhammer can use the air and its moisture to encase himself in ice, and is able to move it along with his body-a form of armor that makes it difficult to harm the man within.
Titan Weapons
The Jotunhammer, until needed, is stored (so to speak) by the vaporous aura of cool air that surrounds Anzo. This vapor coalesces into the massive Jotunhammer-a weapon so unwieldy that it requires vast strength and great skill to utilize effectively. While Anzo is NOT greatly skilled-yet-he has been making strides swiftly, and the day is not far off where he will become the equal of the frost giants of myth.
Additional Powers
Jotunhammer is extremely strong. This allows him to travel great distances-by use of his legs.
Leaping
Jotunhammer can, to borrow a phase-leap tall buildings in a single bound. He uses this as his primary means of travel across the city.
Character History
Erik Anzo and his brother, Sigurd, were partners when it came to visiting far off places. One such was the mountains of Norway, where the two stumbled upon a cave that had recently been revealed thanks to a thaw. Deep within were a pair of gigantic weapons-a sword and a hammer. Sigurd examined the sword, while Erik wandered to the hammer. At that moment, the two were afflicted by a vision-a vision revealing their nature.
Far in the distant past, the Jotnar of Jotunheimr had dallied with mortals; perhaps it was a lark, or perhaps it was a long term plan, but some of the dalliances had produced offspring-who showed no signs of a giantish nature. But it had simply lain in wait, thinning across time, waiting for a moment when those of Jotun blood would pick up the weapons destined to be at Loki's side as captains at Ragnarok, the twilight of the Norse gods.
Erik fought the mental change, even as his body became more giantish. He succeeded in keeping his own will, and became bound to the Jotunhammer without losing his self. His brother...was not so lucky. The sword Jotunblood took him, and he transformed more completely. He clubbed Erik unconscious, and left to find his own destiny.
Erik, on the other hand, decided his destiny was to oppose the coming of Ragnarok, or any other Coming Storm that might be imminent, as a new hero-Jotunhammer!
