- The weed of crime bears bitter fruit!
- —Edward Hale Bierstadt, The Shadow (1937)
Shadewalker is TBD
Personality
Shadewalker isn't one to talk to his enemies. He'll fade in, strike, and fade out, and leave no one the wiser. He's not particularly compassionate talking to criminals, and doesn't mind hurting them to "encourage" them. He won't go overboard-but he's not interested in being nice to them. Being nice, after all, hasn't put down crime. Beating up criminals and locking them away has a better success rate. (Some, obviously, disagree.)
In his civilian life, Shadewalker effects a far more pleasant-if somewhat snobby-personality. He acts like you'd expect a rich snob to act; somewhat superior, preferring to let other people dirty their hands, and occasionally use snark to make a point. He's wealthy and doesn't care if you know it, doesn't care who gets offended by it, and isn't interested in other people's opinions on how to use that wealth. That said: he does put in his share to charitable organizations, in Millennium City and the country (that's an important note: he believes he can probably make a difference with his money on the national level, but internationally he's not so sure. Better to get his own home in order first).
Powers
Shadewalker has one power: the ability to turn invisible. This extends to what he is wearing as well, but not to objects he holds. This limit is the primary reason he does not use weapons in his work but sticks with unarmed combat.
Abilities
Shadewalker is an exceptional martial artist, who adapts his fighting style to his opposition. He's blended a number of hard and soft styles into his technique, but has a preference for hard strikes and kicks.
Shadewalker is a competent businessman, who tends to makes money from playing the stock markets online. Most of his wealth is inherited wealth, however, so it's not like he is a trade-master.
Weaknesses and Limitations
Shadewalker cannot use firearms or other significant weapons while he is invisible; he can conceal small objects (no bigger than his grappler), possibly small knives, but large or bulky weapons are clearly visible. It's unknown as to whether this is a size limitation or a mass limitation.
While he is slightly tougher than baseline humanity, he's still not bulletproof. His technique requires people to not hit him.
Equipment
Because of the limitations of his power, Shadewalker doesn't carry much in the way of equipment. He usually has a grappler with an extensive cable to help him get around, but that pushes the limits of his abilities.
Shadewalker owns a luxurious penthouse suite in one of the better areas of town, and has managed to pay off builders to put in some hi-tech surprises inside.
