Tavern on the Edge

The Tavern on the Edge was technically a heroic super-group of alts on the Virtue Server. However, the general theme of the group is that the Tavern provides a neutral ground where many SGs can socialize and role-play. It is, in some sense, a tip-of-the-hat to Spider Robinson's "Callahan's Bar" science fiction stories. Some members staff the Tavern, others are simply "regulars".

The Tavern was opened by Night Patriot under unknown circumstances. The main bartender is Aesgir, who may or may not be the mythological Norse deity Thor. The Tavern has an entrance just around the corner from the tram in Kings Row; the Tavern has an entrance tucked away amongst the first level shops of Union Plaza at Martin Hall in Talos, facing the gate to Dark Astoria. It is theorized that the Tavern exists in its own pocket dimension, or uses space warp technology, to explain this topographical anomaly, but Night Patriot has never said.
