Rel's Shipping
Rel's Shipping is a starshp that was utlized by both Coreth Landwalker and Zhaven Rel at various points during its lifespan. The ship, at last sighting, remains in operation.
History
Early Apperance
Little is known about this starship prior to its acquisition by Coreth Landwalker. In fact, how he acquired it entirely is unknown; there are rumors that he took it as a prize of war during the early days of his rebellion, but there are also rumors that he simply came into enough credits to simply purchase it. The details remain unknown.
What is known is that Landwalker eventually began to modify the ship, which he dubbed Far Horizons, to serve as a traveling hunting lodge. Unlike the lodge on the moon of Rori, the modifications were less about decoration and more about utility; he included crafting stations and a small armory, and removed the bar that came factory standard with the ship. While he was unable to equip it with weaponry, he did manage to give it a solid shielding system.
When Landwalker believed his primary starship, Distant Horizons, was destroyed, he began to use Far Horizons in earnest. When the stress of the Rebellion had come to be too much-in addition to the continued hints about his future with the Force-he left the galaxy for a time in this ship. When he came back due to the promptings of Rais Orann and his brother, Weldon, he continued to use this ship. Once he became involved with Rebel Intelligence, he stored his ship on Rori, since it was usually not suitable for covert activities. Then things took a strange turn.
Theft
In late 2 ABY, Far Horizons was stolen by the spy, Zhaven Rel, as he was trying to escape a number of gang members he'd irritated on Rori. He penetrated a Rebel Outpost with the gang in close pursuit, sparking an all-out fight between Rebels and the gang. Looking for an escape offworld, he decided among several choices to take the best looking ship-the Far Horizons. Zhaven felt justified in stealing it, as he delivered on a job for the Rebels and decided that since he couldn't come back and get paid, he'd take the pay out represented by a brand new starship.
Rel quickly decided that the ship was unsuitable for him, however; a ranger's flying lodge was not his idea of luxury. He spent a significant amount of funds to get the ship restored to its baseline specifications, which was to say "luxurious". The bar was a priority. However, to maintain one of his assorted covers, he renamed the ship to "Rel's Shipping", based on the fictitious corporation he had created to pay for assorted safehouses throughout the galaxy. Rel reasoned that this would give some stain of legitimacy to his claim to be the head of the corporation.
Rel was known to continue using this ship as late as 7 ABY, when he assisted Coreth Landwalker and Eryn Skiesdottir in tracing down the mysterious Shadow Arsenal. Landwalker discovered that this yacht was indeed formerly Far Horizon, but chose not to make an issue out of it. The ship remained intact during that adventure, and Rel presumably still uses it.
Layout and Modifications
The SoroSuub 3000 is a multi-level starship that oozes class and wealth. The cockpit was a raised area in the front; a stairway led down from the cockpit to the main level, which contained-among other things-a well stocked bar. Behind the bar was an stairwell leading to an overlook over the bar; at the top of the stairs was also an elevator leading to an upper observation deck, with a view of the stars. Forward from the main level, was a comfortable living area and sleeping quarters located underneath the cockpit.
When Coreth Landwalker owned the ship, the bar had been torn out and replaced by crafting stations. When Zhaven Rel took possession, he had the area restored to original specifications.
Aliases
Rel's Shipping was once known as Far Horizons, and it's unlikely that Zhaven Rel simply disposed of the transponder codes for that ship. It is, in fact, greatly probably that Rel has several dozen other aliases available at need.
Significant Crew
As Far Horizons, the ship was primarily used by Coreth Landwalker. On one occasion, he had his brother and Rais Orann on board, but they weren't serving as crew at the time.
Similarly, as Rel's Shipping, Zhaven Rel didn't tolerate anyone else touching his precious systems. He had no problem occasionally taking on passengers, including Landwalker himself and Eryn Skiesdottir.
