Undying Ranger
The Undying Ranger was a starship owned by Coreth Landwalker, although he wouldn't know of it until 7 ABY.
History
Acquisition
The Undying Ranger was a right-off-the-shelf YT-2400. The ship was purchased in the name of Coreth Landwalker by the slicer Aurina Cooperini on the behalf of the Corellian Resistance sometime between 4 ABY and 7 ABY. The Resistance was in need of a fast, ubiquitous transport, and funding was limited to purchase one-so Cooperini sliced into Landwalker's dormant accounts and raided his funds to purchase the freighter. As Landwalker was considered MIA at the time, the reasoning was that when he returned, he could resell the transport to recoup his finances (believing that he would continue to use his usual ship, the Distant Horizons).
In the following months, the ship had some minor modifications done to it by the Knight Tidal Oneka, who had some experience in heavily modified YT-2400 vessels, primarily to its sensor suite and transponder systems.
Coreth Landwalker returned to public view in 7 ABY, and was surprised by Pizmo Cooperini with the ship at the spaceport in Coronet, where Pizmo officially turned the ship over to Landwalker. As Distant Horizons had become a distant memory, Landwalker chose to continue to use the ship for his own purposes. The ship was presumed to still be active in 19 ABY; at the very least, Landwalker was still using a YT-2400 ship.
Layout and Modifications
The layout of the Undying Ranger didn't deviate from stock specifications, and in fact, most of its primary systems remained a stock design. Modifications were mostly "under the hood", as Landwalker didn't note any "crazy smuggler modifications" when he first took the ship out of dock.
The ship was noted to be less armored and armed than Distant Horizons, but at least as fast.
In theory, this ship's airlocks all work.
Significant Crew
Coreth Landwalker was the primary user of the Undying Ranger. Eryn Skiesdottir crewed with him on the ship from the beginning, and years later he would include his trio of apprentices as crew.
