Brainstorm had been planned to be used in a series of modules for Marvel Superheroes based on the classic storyline "Days of Futures Past", and was similar to Professor X in that he was usually a wheelchair-bound telepath. He eventually became the Iron Man of that era, but that prominence ended at the finale of the campaign when the armor had to be cannibalized to try a time-jump. The character was revisited and brought to the "main" setting along with one of his allies there, Enigma, where he would remotely operate a robot and link with it via telepathy and cybernetics.

Known Superhuman Powers: Brainstorm is a telepath of Incredible ranking. He has established a power stunt of illusions at Good skill, and an enhanced danger sense at Remarkable levels. The other established power stunt is the link-up with the telepresence unit at planetary ranges.

Equipment: The telepresence unit is a robot which Brainstorm is able to operate as his own person. Due to physical limitations, Brainstorm is unable to go on to the field, but using this unit, he may participate as any other team member. In addition to its physical stats (the second set shown), it is able to fire entangling cables of Amazing material strength, and use hyper-running at Remarkable speed. The robot itself is made of Incredible material, and thus made of Incredible body armor.

Limitations: Sayers is paralyzed from the waist down. As a result, he is confined to his wheelchair. When "on missions", he stays at AEF Headquarters and works the large computer system that runs the telepresence unit. As a result of the telepathic link-up, the unit is vulnerable to mental attacks.

Other Abilities: Brainstorm is a biologist, and is also skilled at first aid.

Contacts: None.
