Winterfrost

Winterfrost started life as a damsel-in-distress (ah, to be young and unsophisticated again), although more in the "Princess Leia" vein than "Sleeping Beauty". She was apprenticing to a master wizard preparing her for some nebulous future danger (I'm not sure if I actually ever got around to making that danger). The character had good chemistry with one of the other characters on the team, and after a rather crazy courtship, they got married and retired from the hero-biz. When I was working out fiction for the characters, I expected both of them to return to the team-which, naturally, necessitated me actually making stats for the character. Even then, I knew that it was important to establish what a character could and could not do.

Known Superhuman Powers: Winterfrost's powers center on magic. Her magical power is limited to personal and universal energies, however. To access dimensional energies, she needs a talisman, such as symbols of power.

Her powers are not as varied as some spell users, but are potent. She is able to generate cold at Monstrous intensity, and create ice in simple forms of Remarkable material strength. She can use a smooth surface of ice to use clairvoyance and clairaudience with Incredible distance.

Finally, she can create shields on her arms out of Remarkable ice.

Other Abilities: Sloan has occult knowledge, as well as accounting talents.
