Too many to describe here

Alcaran's Phantom is an advanced prototype covert intelligence starship. Very few of these ships were actually made, and the owners of each of them have one thing in common: they were Ciphers of Imperial Intelligence for the Sith Empire.

History

This particular prototype was granted to Alcaran Rost upon his appointment to the rank of Cipher, shortly after the destruction of the Dominator by the Eagle. Rost would use this ship primarily for transport in the line of his duties as an Imperial Cipher, including during the major flare-up of the war between the Republic and the Empire. After Imperial Intelligence was dissolved, Rost would continue to use the vessel-after all, there was no record of its existence on the books. Rost would use the ship as late as 3640 BBY, during the crisis at Makeb. Its final fate remains undetermined.

Layout and Modifications

The X-70B Phantom-class prototype starship is arguably the most advanced design in the Sith Empire-at least, for the purposes for which it was intended. The ship was equipped with a sensor-resistant exterior, and an advanced stealth field generator (technology lost after the era of the Old Republic). The ship was well armed and shielded, enabling it to engage Republic fighters, but Rost rarely used the ship for combat, preferring to make use of its sensor suite for intelligence gathering, and quiet transports to the worlds of his choice.

The ship included its own medical facility, complete with a kolto tank for drastic injury, and was enabled for holonet communications.

Aliases

As a ship designed for Imperial Intelligence, Alcaran's ship could easily change identities as simply as he changed clothes. It is safe to say that the ship never landed at a port with the same name more than once.

Significant Crew

Alcaran was the primary owner of this ship, as was his due as a Cipher. The ship was also crewed by a hand-picked squad of individuals, some of whom were Imperials themselves, while others were contracted or joined due to personal loyalty to Rost.
