After the Combat Upgrade hit, I felt a bit depressed about SWG, so I spent some time on another server with a new character-and I tried a playstyle radically different than what I'd done before. Hence, the entertainer Idievak Bialar.

Personality

Idievak was at heart a very laid back man. It took a lot to ruffle his feathers, and took the anti-alien biases from the Empire with equanimity. He was unfailingly cheerful to his friends, and to those who listened to his music. Even his near death experience in Restuss didn't damage his fundamental beliefs that people were basically good; in fact, he would argue that the people from the doomed city who struggled to help each other out of the disaster zone justified his beliefs.

Abilities

Idievak was an expert musician, proficient in a wide variety of musical instruments. His preferred instrument was the Nalargon, however. He also knew a number of dance moves-not to the same extent as professional dancers, but enough to allow him to incorporate exotic flourishes in his musical performances.

Idievak had a number of musical instruments that he had tranported from place to place. His preferred instrument was the Nalargon, but he was skilled in an assortment of instruments.

Character History

Little is known of Idievak's personal history. He was a friend of Zhaven Rel's; the spy believed that his musical talents should have had him working in grand concert halls on Coruscant rather than seedy cantinas. Despite this, Idievak loved playing in those venues, and had stated that his goal was to perform in every cantina he could find on every civilized world he could reach-and some less civilized.

Idievak's last performance was apparently in the city of Restuss on the moon of Rori. As best as Zhaven Rel could determine, he was present when the Star Core device exploded, destroying the city and killing almost everyone within.

There have been isolated rumors, however, that Idievak survived the blast, or wasn't present after all when the battle raged. Accordingly, the ultimate fate of Idievak Bialar remains unconfirmed.

Friends Zhaven Rel: Zhaven was an old friend of Idievak's; the two had similar political leanings, which is to say, politics didn't matter to them. Idievak didn't care because music was music no matter where it was played, and Zhaven because he was a bit more mercenary. Ilify: Ilify was a Sullustan musician who frequently partnered with Idievak on tours. They met in Theed at a cantina, and worked well enough together that they made it a regular habit.
