Star Wars Galaxies

This was the origin point. Star Wars Galaxies was the first MMORPG I'd played, and while my time in it was relatively short compared to other games here, it had one whopping impact on everything that followed-from written fiction to primary character avatar appearances. It all began here.

Characters in a Galaxy Far, Far Away

SWG had one major strike against it: an extremely limited number of character slots. Of course, this probably helped keep the game going since you would need another account if you wanted more than one character per server (that number went up to two after the accursed NGE), and it probably helped drive the economy on the assorted servers. Because of that, however, there are only a few characters here who were the foundation stones of my MMO gaming.

Flying Away

In a game involving Star Wars, you had to be able to travel from planet to planet. Sure, you could use the starships at the spaceport to transport you, but what fun is that-not when you could use your very own starships! These are the ships my characters had that you could actually move around in (starfighters not included).

Rebel Cells

I wasn't involved with many player associations (eg. guilds); in fact, that number can be counted with a single finger, and for good reason-because they were a great bunch of people!
