Dungeons and Dragons

It was sort of inevitable over time that after gaming with super hero RPGs and science fiction RPGs that I would one day be playing the classic fantasy RPG. I played the Second Edition when it came out (I had the First Edition AD&D rules, but hadn't played many characters before Second rolled out), and friends of mine and I played in a few campaigns. Later, I started playing with a new group with the Third Edition of the game, and have done so ever since.

Second Edition

These characters came from a number of campaigns, primarily because the DM would have ideas for new settings and kind of set aside old ones. I think only one of the campaigns came to what we'd call an official stopping point. There weren't many people involved, either, so sometimes we'd be using multiple characters (I was an altoholic early!). Due to that detail, I did tinker with the possibility of some fiction with them over the years, and some of the rumors associated with the characters hails to ideas I'd had related to that. These characters have sheets that are about where they were left when their assorted campaigns ended.

Third Edition

Honestly, this is more along the lines of "3.5 Characters", because the transition from Third to 3.5 was pretty easy and seamless for this group. These characters are basically snapshots in time, as some of these characters are actually still works in progress!
